Do you remove the stems from leafy greens?

We usually remove the large parts of the stems from greens like kale, chard, and collard greens. Those hard or fibrous stems can be pretty tough on your blender and tend to taste a little bitter. It’s a good idea to leave the leaves on the stem toward the top, though. Lots of nutrients to be had!
