You recommend pesto and cashew cream in some recipes. Why?

I am the queen of flavor and obsessed with pesto. It takes any dish to a whole new level— especially when it comes to soups. Feel free to make your own (I shared my vegan basil recipe) or buy a version at the store. The cashew cream is amazing in the tomato soup and I highly encourage you to make it! These are my suggestions to make the recipes even more awesome, yet not necessary to be a part of the challenge.
